I've owned and used this book for thirty years and it's been a most reliable guide in helping me help myself. Constance Mellor writes with great common sense and is easy to understand. She looks for ways to encourage the body to heal 'itself' with sensible use of natural/harmless remedies. Mrs Mellor offers more than one solution to most ailments, including homeopathic, herbal, Bach remedies, salts and other household treatments, as appropriate. Highly recommended - unless you are reluctant to use what are now known as 'alternative' remedies.
