used it and my nhs midwife was well pissed off,,, that just proved to me that it was what i needed. if your gonna have a baby buy it read it use what works for you. the worst thing you could do is rely solely on the nhs and buy into the conventional thought that if you don't follow the hospitals lead then your child will suffer,,,,,,,,, baby's sometimes suffer in the hospitals as well,,,,,, so the more knowledge u have the better prepared you can be. this book helped me be better prepared. my baby is beautiful and just started walking,,,,she was talking from the day she came out of mummies belly,,,,,, buy buy buy buy buy

I love this book, I couldn't stop reading it. I only wish I read it during my first pregnancy, or had a midwife like the author.
There is so much in this book you will have to get it to see all the information packed in.

I am teach Natural Childbirth, and, as such, have read many, many books concerning pregnancy and childbirth. I absolutely love the tone in which this book is written! Pregnancy is truly a special, beautiful time in a woman's life, and birth ought to be as well. I have enjoyed the nourishment tea recipe the author includes, as well as the useful herbal information. Beware, however, of the pagan content. It is a wonderful book!
